What sites do you have available?
Hawaii Event Planners works with a number of sites all over Kauai, including private residences and local resorts, amongst others.  We are always open to working with new sites and can assist with site research and selection.

What do I need to reserve the date?
Reservations are made in the order in which they are received.  A contract will be sent to you upon receipt of your requested reservation.  Reservations will be confirmed upon receipt of signed contract and initial deposit.  Our deposit policy varies based on the scope of your event. Please inquire.

What is the best area of the island to be married at?
This truly depends on yoru personal needs and preferences. Kauai is truly a beautiful destination and it can be difficult to select.  We are very familiar with all areas and can assist you with making this very important decision.

What is the best time of year to travel to Kauai?
While the weather in Hawaii is moderate year-round, seasons do exist to a certain degree.  Our winters are a bit more rainy and our summers a bit more humid.  All in all, it's always beautiful here and without the rain, our island would not be the tropical paradise it is. As the saying goes, "no rain...no rainbows." Please allow us to discuss any weather concerns with you.

Which vendors do you work with?
Our vendor list is extensive.  We do have our tried and true vendors that are reliable and do great work.  Once planning services are secured, we are happy to share more detail about our vendors. We are always open to working with new vendors with consideration that they meet our standards (ie liability insurance requirements, reference checks, and proper licensing and permitting).

Can we change the wedding package?
Of course! We encourage you to let us know about your wedding style and needs.  We are happy to customize any part of the event for you.

What makes you different from other companies offering similar services?
Our Coordinators are originally from Kauai, and have contacts and knowledge about locations that others do not.  They have lived the true "Aloha" spirit all their life and bring that to our business

We have an experienced Chef on our team with 10 years of banquet and fine dining experience who can work with Catering and ensure you get the best service and value for your dollar.

We are coordinators only and our company was started as a coordination company.  This allows us to focus on the important job of coordinating your event. We are not photographers, ministers, or musicians who also coordinate.  We do not believe that this type of service is in the client's best interest.  We are professional coordinators and we hire professional vendors.
